Hello and welcome! I’m Silvia, and it’s my joy to support growing families with warmth, wisdom, and wholehearted care. My approach blends a nurturing presence with insight into the body’s design for birth–offering guidance that’s both intuitive and intentionally aligned. However your birth unfolds, I’ll be by your side with steady guidance, practiced skill and an attuned, calming presence.

“I always loved the idea of having a doula, but didn’t have luck finding one for my first pregnancy. This second time around, my husband and I retained Silvia, and she was a Godsend. She helped me so much. She gave me encouragement, supported me, and restored my confidence, which was lost after my first pregnancy ended in a c-section.
I loved the essential oils and lotions she provided me with. She gave me so many techniques and birthing items to help with laboring at home before we went into the hospital. She met me there and was a huge support. It has been so great to have her care.
She also helped me at the house after the baby came. She encapsulated my placenta into pills, which is wonderful. She made me a precious keepsake with my baby’s umbilical cord. It was so sweet of her. She was a huge help. Silvia is so knowledgeable and talented. I am so grateful for her and will definitely be calling her next time I’m pregnant.”
“My wife’s first pregnancy two years ago ended in a c-section after she had been in 36 hours of active labor. When we found out we were pregnant 10 months ago, I just knew things had to go differently this time around.
Our journey was filled with many struggles, as the OB we used last time informed us they don’t support vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). We found another OB, and we knew we would need the help and support of a doula. We found Silvia and couldn’t be happier.
I don’t think we’d have been successful with a natural birth had it not been for Silvia. She had several pre-labor meetings with my wife, brought over tools for exercises, and taught many techniques. At one point, when we were past our due date and receiving pressure from the OB, Silvia set us up with an appointment with an acupuncturist colleague named Deanna Carell—and within 24 hours of that appointment, my wife was in active labor.
Silvia helped through the labor, and my wife gave birth naturally. Praise God. It was so wonderful. Silvia helped at the house with several more postpartum visits as well. I am eternally grateful to Silvia for how much she helped us.”
